Egg producer Bird Brothers has announced Great Taste two-star award wins for its White Gold and Roam ranges.
Following on from its three single star wins in 2025, the British Lion accredited egg producer has been recognised at the Great Taste awards for a second time, topping its previous achievement with two double star wins.
Both ranges recognised are from the brand’s free range offering and were noted for their appealing looks and taste.
The Great Taste awards is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme.
The Roam White Gold range, described by the judges as being ‘truly a thing of beauty with a yolk of perfect, rich deep colour and the whitest of whites’ is a free-range egg range available in packs of six across the UK. The judges also noted White Gold eggs had ‘a natural, clean flavour you would want from an egg that comes from a hen that has eaten and lived well.’
The White Gold range, which are premium, free range golden yolk eggs with distinctive white shells, were described as having ‘a very appealing buttery aroma’ and ‘wonderfully deep and gold.’
